This is my first “Breaking News” post.
As a newbie on FR I hope this post helps me understand the thought process of other members of this forum.
I ran across this poll on FaceBook which has been posted in several FaceBook groups that I follow. I think it is worded well but has very few responses so far. It is early Friday morning. lol
My purpose for posting it here in Breaking News is that I think Face Book will pull it if the votes don’t produce the intended results
I don’t know if a FaceBook account is required to vote or not. If not then I suspect the data will not be accurate because that would mean people can vote multiple times.
Trump vs. AOC in 2020? There’s this thing about an age requirement to be President; it’s in the Constitution.

She will be 35 in 2024. So she is eligible. If a Dem wins in 2020, she won’t run.

Well, that escalated rather quickly.
That poll isn’t there to see what her numbers are, it is there to identify people in her district that support her. Facebook will then take those profiles and identify people in those profiles friends list that agree with them politically, but didn’t vote last time around. This will be a list of potential voters for AOC to target next time. Facebook and Google and the rest of the W3C will help her do this by manipulating the search results these people see between now and the election on an individual basis.
The reverse will be true for Conservatives... for example, your posts will be limited to people who already agree with you..so that the possibility of your posts affecting a non-voter or a middle of the road voter are eliminated.
This is almost impossible to detect after the fact, but it is in fact electioneering. Project Veritas has verified that Facebook engineers are emphasizing certain content and de-emphasizing conservative content in this way. This next election is going to be very strange mathematically for sure.
The Beto election in Texas was a dry run for this. With enough money, they almost pulled it off. Republicans need to wake up or they are going to get smeared. I am not sure there is much they can do anyway...
