Thats smaller than my largest ship I owned long ago
Peterbilt arguing with a mass of concrete and steel I beams.
He seemed to think you could drive through the shipping dock.
Sounds like your typical HS drop out.
Truckers are a bizarre breed. Friend of mine manages a logistics warehouse and he says these truckers get in fist fights with each other all the time near the docks.
I was thinking the same thing.
Id be torn between the desire to not move so as to not do anything to make the car slip forward, and the desire to get the heck out before it did anyway.
actually didn’t know Russians drank, until met a sober one a while back.
Could have been much worse. He had already reversed engines.
The captain of this boat should send a shore party into town to steal a boat big enough to pull their cargo ship off the bridge.
You see that prop wash off the stern? He’s still driving ahead! We can make it... Just a little more throttle...
You or your Uncle?
On the video version you can see he is full astern. My bad.
Congrats! You’ve now unleashed the power of posting mindless memes on every thread here on FR (like I do....)
In Soviet Russia, bridge hit you!
Now you see, Trump left the meeting with the nork leader to sneak up to S. Korea and secretly lower the bridge knowing that the Russian ship would hit it.
This... .. is CNN.
It’s weird, I have had drivers that were absolutely great to deal with.
Drivers like the dude who drive into the building because he “didn’t see it” seem to be more numerous though.
Had a bunch of drivers insist the truck entrance was a public road and they could park there, one of them worked really hard to back over a fire hydrant.
I’d chalk those up to drugs more than likely.
Cooped up in the cab for 12-18 hours a day probably isn’t good for anybody’s sanity either.
Fire hydrants, light poles, power transformers, cars - they hit everything if they can.
Certain companies that sure wish they finished training or can’t remember stuff today tend to be more...advanced in performing these feats.
Have seen some really wanted out behavior from some over the years.
But the No Freaking Idea driver who thought the guard booth could move out of her way was the master of this stuff.
Saw her every three days for several years, always the same thing: “I know that (local highway) is in there (obvious truckyard) and you’re trying to fool me! You have to let me in!”
Egermancy?
Was this Captain formerly in the U.S. Navy????????????????
