Students in any California public or private school, grades one through 12, could soon be prohibited from performing dissections.
Assembly member Kalra introduced the bill last week that would ban dissection in all schools, altering the California education code.

Yes, vivisection assignments in classrooms would be more appropriate.
We started at earthworm and worked up to our fetal pig “Cuddles”. Cuddles absolutely reeked of formaldehyde. One girl on our team actually passed out and hit the deck. A kid a couple tables down made it to the garbage can before he puked.

That will help produce people overly delicate, overly squeemish. Life can be messy and violent sometimes. It’s not good to become too insulated to that reality.
Think of what most children in other countries have to deal with every day. They survive it.

These (fornicating) (illegitimates) are complete hypocrites! They rejoice at ripping babies apart and throwing the parts in the trash, but their superior virtue and their wonderful, kind compassion for animals makes them forbid the same thing for animals!

No frogs for you!! I thought it was stupid. Plenty of pictures exist. If you want to go into that field...fine...you’ll get to do your thing.

I used to teach some science to 7th graders. We did a frog dissection and the kids, years later said it was the one thing they remembered. So there’s that. Then the computer frog dissection simulations came along and some board members said we should do them, since a few kids found the real thing to be ‘icky’.
But the thing is, with real frogs, every one is different. Yes the organs are pretty much all in the same place, but not exactly. Each frog was an individual. I remember one frog had a huge stomach, which looked like it filled the abdomen. Inside was a three-inch long fish. So the kids got to see the frog’s last meal.
So the politicians who have no problem with human baby parts being sold as lab specimens are upset that pond-raised frogs, crustaceans, and earthworms are being “murdered” for lab use. The insanity continues. Perhaps they’ll want to save the amoebas and rotifers from lab work next.

The animals being dissected will soon probably be replaced with the cadavers of aborted unborn humans since animal life has more value in liberal states than human life.
In high school, we were tasked with dissecting liberals. Problem was everyone we opened up was full of crap.
