We're making some progress.
Several years ago, we went to a pizza restaurant buffet for Sunday lunch. Somehow, they mananged to run out of everything at the same time. For a few minutes, the buffet table was empty.
When they brought out food again, we waited as we’d been through the line once; we were letting people who had arrived while there was no food go ahead of us.
A very large man sitting near us got up and got in line as soon as he saw the food coming out (and he had not just arrived). I watched in amazement as he proceeded to flip half a pizza onto his plate!
Half a pizza-never mind several people in line behind him, including children.
I wonder if something like that happened at the seafood buffet? I have to admit, if I’d been behind the guy at the pizza buffet, I’d have been tempted to whack him with the tongs!
Either you don’t travel much or you dont know JUST HOW MUCH white trash is out there :)
Never be so certain what color the folks will be.
I’ve seen plenty of whites act like they grew up in a cave.
My ex (once is enough) used to like the AYCE buffet for some strange reason.
I would reluctantly go but order off the menu and I did ‘learn’ early on to NEVER order the special—I also tried to avoid the ‘chain’ restaurants UNLESS I was alone and they had a decent bar.
She would hate it when all ordered the ‘special’ and I would stick to my order off the menu and she never figured out why my steak looked so much better(bigger) than hers.
The few times I went on vacation, I would get up at my regular time and find the local ‘gin mill’ for breakfast. Always better than the motel ‘free breakfast’.
Amazingly my ‘union’ lasted 43 some years and particularly amazing because I don’t ‘play well with others’<: <:

What the OP linked to was barely a paragraph blurb from a page of a dozen stories. But it was really important to know someone got into a fight at a buffet?

My favorite place serves "crab balls". I ask them who's the poor SOB they hire to castrate those crabs.
When I posted this I had no idea who or what race the perps were. So don't generalize.
Very funny! I’ve only been to one of these places (for an event), and know exactly what you mean. It was west enough in NJ to be all white people, but manners weren’t a priority...
It is a funny story, and as far as we know the white guy might be the instigator.
