I always wondered how Eastwood managed to cut out that hunk of armor plating that could withstand Winchester bullets. And even if the plate stops the bullet from penetrating, there's the blunt force trauma under the point(s) of impact, and high velocity bullet fragments coming off the plate parallel to the surface - either one of those can potentially kill you...
