“wonder if I could get a 37 Packard with running boards, suicide doors, and a rumble seat.....at least I think it was 37....”
I think that would be a stretch. It would be like getting a Pinto Kit Car! Not a big market for either, although the Packard is a beautiful car.
But it doesn’t have one of those tiny flashing red LEDs like they always have on TV shows............................
I guess it is meaningless.
It’s got to have the red flashy thingy to work.
Yep! Every cop show I’ve ever seen has that the red flashy thingy, else it’s FAKE!....................
Being picky, they did not ROB the car, they STOLE it.
Maybe they took it’s loose change from under the seat! And no I didn’t read the article.
I was always more of a Mercury Cougar fan myself.
Back in the early 00’s I had a 67 I bought from an uncle. It had to be sacrificed to solve a few money problems and keep the peace at home.
I will find another one day no matter how mad my wife gets.
Just looking on Ebay, I found this fixer-upper.

Transporting from CA to SC is kind of pricey. I have a watch on it but I don’t see me trying for it. Besides I have four fixer-uppers in various stages of recovery or collecting dust. I would like to find one that is at least operational.
I keep an Ebay and a CL watch for that model car though.
I like 1967-68 XR7s and 1968 GTEs. I could own a 1967XR7 optioned out.
67 or a 68 model Cougar, any variant would do.
I signed up on Co-Part and saw one in TX intact but the back is crushed. Body damage is one thing. A messed up frame is another.
Hanging is for horse thieves. You steal a nice 1968 pony, and its the gallows, I say! Lets hope they get it back and its not in Mexico by now.
Dirty rotten... ooh I can’t even say what I am thinking. Scum. Pond scum. Evil pond scum. Evil heartless pond scum of the lowest order.
Longevity wasn't though, did the show even make season 2?
Sadly no.
George didn’t want his soon to be ex-wife at the time from getting any money out of it or so I read.
u tebya yest’ moya mashina.
