Really hard to comment on a movie before its release
Don’t fall for fake advocacy journalism. People weren’t commenting on the film. These weren’t reviews of any sort. That’s the lie being told by the media. They were responding to a POLL asking if they wanted to see the film or not, and apparently saying “no” in response to a poll is trolling now. Because the numbers were really bad.
The problem for Rotten Tomatoes is that they went overboard in defending their restricted commenting on some really bad movies, regardless of any trolling.
Now the site looks like it's just joined the Nazi left censoring "honest" and "factual" opinions.
Not necessarily. Depending on the stars, the plot, the director. A lot of info is available long before reviews and the premiere..
Its more fake news. The reviews were actually a feature that asked if people were going to see the movie. They could then comment why they want or didnt want to see it. Brie Larsons big mouth tanked the want to see score.
Not if they ASK you if you want to see it or not.
Your correct it hasn’t been released yet. The comments are being driven by SJW comments made by the starring actress within the past few weeks. Had she kept her yap shut most of the blowback wouldn’t have occurred.
In addition RT specifically polled to see who was interested in seeing it. So there are comments in that regard as well.

There are sneak preview screenings. Especially for fanboy films. packed houses.
That’s media spin to try to discredit the votes and comments - they were not reviews at all, but a vote on whether or not they were interested in seeing the moving. This was in the 90s at first and after Brie Larsen and allies went on their attacking of the fan base it fell into the 20s and then this feature was removed.
