I’ve always wanted to see the Sand Hill Cranes in Nebraska, but haven’t gotten that far, yet.

There aren't Nebraska Sandhills. These are from New Mexico, and they are palling around with snow geese.

Every year from late February to early April, over 600,000 Sandhill Cranes migrate on the Platte River Valley, Nebraska, in order to ‘fuel up’ before resuming their northward migration.
