If NYPD Blue isn’t on there, it isn’t a serious list.
No. No.
Charlene wasn’t his equal. She was just a love sick puppy.
Cute, but just a puppy.
PS.. Miss Peggy was Tatum O’Neal’s mother.
It saddens me to know that she had major problems with alcohol.
Course, Ryan O’Neal just about destroyed everything he got his grubby little hands on.
I love to watch Dennis the Menace, Burns and Allen, Donna Reed...just a few of my favorites.
As a young teenager, I loved MASH. After I enlisted I saw just how disrespectful they were of the military and especially their leadership. I detest that show now. Just my opinion, if course.
I’ve watched those top Britdramas that you listed and loved every minute. I also loved Hercule Poirot with David Suchet.
Did that series ever resolve at its ending? For example, what was it about?. Who was running the island, Etc?
I did like that Lotus Super Seven, though.
NYPD Blue...Yes! Have watched all 11(?)seasons 2 or 3 times. One of the best shows ever!
Did you hear there’s a sequel in the works? Sipowitz Jr. the main character. Dennis Franz turned down a spot.
Claire is prettier and takes her clothes off more.....a lot more
Jamie looks like a gay hunk
That series goes a lot of places
Last Kingdom is much better.....
Excellent non PC series
I watched Lovejoy for a while, and found it quite enjoyable.
My children are hooked on MacGuyver episodes, the old MacGuyver, not the young one. Also Get Smart.
I saw your list and was amazed that Night Court was not on it. It seems like a natural with the other shows you picked.
Old Jack Benny episodes can be found on You Tube. Get you a Sony DVD player if you don’t have one with a YouTube App. Lots of free old movies too.
I’ll give it a look when it comes out. That’s interesting that Andy’s kid is taking a lead role. I still miss Sharon Lawrence.
It will leave you nostalgic for prosecutors who were interested in the truth rather than just "winning".
Not sure they ever truly existed but it is nice to think they might have.
“And among older voters:
1. The Simpsons
2. Seinfeld
3. The Twilight Zone
4. M*A*S*H
5. Looney Tunes
.
Older voters?
They would go for Omnibus,Playhouse 90,Maverick, I Love Lucy and Milton Berle.
.
.
Laugh-In
Battlestar Galactica (reboot)
Carol Burnett Show
Married With Children
Babylon 5
24 (watch a whole season in one sitting! WHEW!),
If we were ranking Brit shows to be binged ...
Clochmerle
Man About the House
Shameless (better than the US version)
Are You Being Served?
Fawlty Towers
Ditto Deadwood, if for nothing else than the dialogue.
But Boothe Powers et al just add to the awesome.
