The reboot of the classic episodic TV show The Twilight Zone will hit CBS All Access on April 1st, and with just over a month to go, CBS has released a full trailer for the series.
Get Out director Jordan Peele will host and produce the show, as heard in a surreal TV spot that aired during this years Super Bowl. This new teaser shows off a bit more of what to expect from this new effort: a series of surreal, unsettling episodes with a cast that includes Adam Scott, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cho, and Peele himself.

What’s with all this streaming stuff? Why won’t it be on regular CBS stations? Would probably be an improvement over some.of the drivel on TV.

Missed an obvious visual IMO. Shoulda been shot in black and white.
Streaming is killing broadcast TV almost overnight. My wife and I went from watching only DVD/Blueray on our TV and then got Amazon prime. We went months without using the DVD player, and in the last 18 months have only used it two or three times. And we have hundreds of movies on DVD.
They even have live sports for people that want that.

Hopefully it will kill network news as well.
WITH commercials.
I see a lot of CNN on youtube. It’s almost always a channel critiquing it or making fun of it.
Due to circumstances beyond my control a couple of years ago I had to watch the CBS Evening News every night for a week. The most striking thing was not the biased coverage, that was to be expected. It was the fact that almost every commercial was for a prescription drug. The audience for these broadcasts is old and passing away.
CBS streaming costs $5.99/month.
Streaming allows content providers to bypass the cable companies, and charge for cable-type content. This might be the future.
Black and white has a character of its own.
I prefer the BW avengers and The Saint to the color versions.
Film and kinescope.

Well, there is always NIGHT GALLERY, which I am binge watching each evening since I never saw most of them as I worked nights back then.
This will be left wing bilge non stop.
“Well, there is always NIGHT GALLERY, which I am binge watching each evening since I never saw most of them as I worked nights back then”
Can I ask where you are binge watching Night Gallery? I loved that show!
What computer was that available in 1959 to 1964? Univocal, Genivac? IBM System 32? All those non graphic computers? Which one?
Univocal= Univac
And I know why. Emma Peel still turns me on after all these years.
If you can get over the air broadcast TV, MeTV shows Night Gallery most days.
