A “$10 whore” who has no idea who you are is probably a lot safer for your image and less threat of blackmail than a girlfriend, mistress, $1000 call girl, or a lot of other options.

We can easily solve this problem with a proper wall (or steel slats) and better border and air port screening.
He went to a legit spa with a business front and probably even a business license in that area.
We would rather lock up a couple pot heads, instead of going after the drug king pins. Just like we would rather lock up some horny old men then go after the pimps/human traffickers.
This is just so some local prosecutor can claim “I am fighting crime” with out actually going after the actual criminals in the first place. This is easy, catches more people and racks up the prosecution tallies. Going after the king pins would net few people, require more work/investigations and the prosecutor may even be told not to by local politicians who receive donations/gifts from the king pins. So instead of getting rid of the real criminals and their empires, they focus on pot head kids and horny old geezers.
Easy pickins for the prosecutor who doesn’t want to make waves.
