“Empire” star Jussie Smollett is now charged with a felony following an attack that was allegedly staged.
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office confirmed to “Extra” that Smollett has been charged with one count of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report.
He is due in court at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

I just don’t see how she claims US citizenship; the grounds just don’t seem to be there.
“Negotiate surrender for his arrest”? Seriously? Mueller had swat team storm roger stone’s house and take him into custody- but because jussie is a gay black man they give him special privileges and ask him to surrender pretty please?
Too bad the law doesn’t allow the judge to sentence him to the max term for the alleged hate crime/assault that he falsely reported.
He also basically smeared every Black, homosexual and Trump opponent in America as somebody not to be believed when reporting a REAL hate assault.

Never thought I’d actually see him charged with anything, much less a felony, but good on them for doing it.
Why not drag him out like they did Mr. Stone, with helicopters and everything.

There is no negotiating with a warrant. It is an order to arrest him. An officer does not have the authority to not carry the order out. Negotiate my butt.
But as my tagline says, I am often wrong but NEVER in doubt! This proves that at least! :-)
