A man has been arrested for allegedly slapping a woman with a bowl of chili, as well as hitting her and pulling her hair.
According to the arrest report issued by Escambia County Sheriff's Office, on October 26, 2018 the victim told police she was in a parked car with her boyfriend when 33-year-old Jerald Jenkins approached them.
Jenkins then asked the victim who was in the car with her, according to the report.
"The victim stated when she said it was her boyfriend Jenkins slapped her with a bowl of chili," the report said.

I’d like to ask the victim...what hurt more, the chili or the bowl?

Seems there was an awful lot left out of that story, like the color of the assailant, so I have to wonder about the others, like was the woman maybe also Black? Was the boyfriend maybe White or Hispanic? Did the assailant and the woman know each other?

From the article:
Jenkins was arrested on Thursday and charged with battery, aggravated assault and larceny.
"Larceny"? Did he steal the chili? The chili bowl? Did he steal the Large Kitchen Knife?
We need common-sense Chili Bowl Control!

Well, he slapped her with a bowl of chili - according to the title.
A good thing too. A bowl of Chile would be heavy.
