(Gateway Pundit): Ten years ago today… Democrat Ilhan Omar married her biological brother.
Omar won a historic victory over 44-year incumbent DFL Rep. Phyllis Kahn.
Ilhan Omar built a vast coalition of East African voters to defeat the incumbent in Minneapolis.
The liberal media forgot to mention Ilhan was married to her brother.

A reader has written us to point out that the Somali website Somalispot posted information last week suggesting Omar’s involvement in marriage and immigration fraud. The post notes that Omar married Ahmed Hirsi in 2002. Hirsi is the father of Omar’s three children. Omar is depicted with Hirsi and their children on Omar’s campaign website here.
The post further notes that Omar married her brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009, implying that the latter marriage assisted his entry into the United States. Her brother was a British citizen. “As soon as Ilhan Omar married him,” the post continues, “he started university at her [a]lma mater North Dakota State University where he graduated in 2012. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Minneapolis where he was living in a public housing complex and was later evicted. He then returned to the United Kingdom where he now lives.”

Hopefully this can be proven and her citizenship revoked.

Absolutely. If anything is misrepresented on the application it can be revoked.
Omar had to have falsified a slew of official US documents when she married her brother as a way to slither into the US.
She should be deported today.

There is this odd piece to the story....this ‘second’ husband (the suggested brother)...if he were the brother....then his father who was already within the American system...could have brought ‘junior’ into the US as his son. So there was no need for a ‘sister’ to marry the ‘brother’.
My suspicion is that this Elmi guy (the suggested brother) was a false ID situation and not the real brother. If you read through everything...this guy came to the US, attended college for the most part. It wouldn’t surprise me if there is more than one Elmi walking around.
If we don’t it will become common practice in America.

We know that Ilhan Omar married her first husband, father of her children, in an Islamic ceremony. She divorced him, remarried the second guy, sponsored his immigration visa, divorced the second guy, and then remarried her first husband, all through civil actions.
I do not believe that Ilhan Omar, devout Somali Muslim, was out there sowing her wild oats with different men before settling back with her original husband.
Time to take action on the felon media AWOL.
Well...the first guy, officially on state paper, had applied for a marriage license, and then never went through with it. Maybe he had a Islamic ceremony, but on paper...it wasn’t a state marriage. Second guy....paperwork done, and he was officially married to her. It did appear that the second guy (the suggested brother) was just using the deal to attend college.
