Aside from trying to be cute, AOC seems to be asking questions that may have some Dems and Reps scurrying for cover. Seems to me good questions about means for Congressional corruption. I have no idea what these hearings are.
Two thoughts: Looks to me like the Trey Gowdy style of exposing things. Lots of questions, no action.
Would love to see AOC's balance sheet two years from now.
Weak attempt at claiming higher ground than the President, and if this woman manages to stay in Congress, will be greatly thrown in her face as she gains wealth, especially if she gets onto the wrong side of the established leftists in any way.
It will be vastly inflated.
There's many quasi-legal ways to get paid in Congress if you have a high profile. Speaking fees, a ghost written book, as advisor to a movie about your life (slum girl rises to speak green truth to power), etc.
Netflix is paying $10 million for her and a few other demos that got elected. Will she receive any money from that?
I hope she is forced to account for every dime she makes.

She’s there for the money. Like nearly everyone who “serves” in congress and accumulates wealth, she will do the same but her’s will truely be a sizeable fortune.
She , Omar and Tlaib were all silent on social media all day sunday.
A loudmouth narcissist like her, can only means she was getting reamed by the dems over the bad press she brings. If she is toned down when she pops up again, rest assured she had the law laid down for her.
She of course will blow it again.
I look forward to Blasio and Cuomo getting payback for her part in the Amazon debacle.She made some mortal enemies on that one. They will destroy her.

I agree. Her oblivious honesty is doing a public service by exposing Demorat corruption.
Also strategic as the Socialist Young Guns are going to need to sweep away the old guard before they can march us into Collectivist Nirvana.
I think foundation “donations” are for older, more established actors. These foundations not only enable spending on pet causes, but also provide for tax-advantaged hiring and maintenance of an army of retainers. Hillary re-purposed political operatives from Arkansas and the BJC White House as foundation employees, and everybody traveled first-class on foundation donations.
These donations get around straight political limits, and also give greater control to the bribee (not a word, but it works here) than straight campaign or PAC money. After all, its for charity, an area where election laws don’t operate. For the children.
That said, I think AOC is too young for that now. She doesn’t have the coterie of followers, or the infrastructure to set up and use/abuse a foundation. But, in ten years...
She actually grew up upper middle class.
If by "honest questions" one means "honestly and earnestly stupid assertions", then yeah.
We all know that. But I'll bet long odds that isn't the way she'll be portrayed in her glorification bio-pic.

Multi million dollar book deals seem to be the dems favorite way of laundering bribe money to their bought and paid for politicians. What did Obama get as soon as he was out of office, $60 million or so? Payment for services rendered to the socialist cartel masters.
It’s obvious Obama was identified early on as someone that could be groomed into the presidency by the democrat machine because of his early book deals. What publisher would fund a book about the life of someone who had accomplished nothing? How do you fill the pages of a book with tales from a life that basically consisted of going to college and smoking weed? Those early book deals were how they brought him into the fold, made him wealthy and bought his loyalty while they groomed him for his presidential run.
