Mike Pence.

I remember wondering at the time why racist white men would watch Empire to start with.
Notice how completely he wanted this to be about HIM, not any random black or gay “little person”.
Hence adding the mention of Empire and the fake note a week prior addressed to him.
He wanted to be the face and voice of the resistance. Blind ambition stoked by an extremist political viewpoint.

Every white person should keep a short length of rope handy (an old one - don’t buy it!) and whenever they are victims of a crime (robbery, car broken into, stolen yard decorations) they should say two blacks tried to lynch them with the rope yelling “no justice no peace”!
Just look out for security cameras, and if no crime occurs, make one up...
