Lol!
The Eagles.
lol
Lol, but we agree on the Eagles.
Never understood the beatle mania sillyness either
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m old so I have had to endure their junk for a very long time. I’m sure their music is fine of you like listening to little girls sing.
Springsteen and Green Day definitely.
Being from NJ I guess we were supposed to be nuts for him..?? Never understood it.
Green Day touts themselves as punk but it’s sure not the punk I know. Then they showed their politics, no thanks.
I saw Clapton’s last show of the Slow Hand tour ‘78 or so.
Same thing. Worst band chemistry ever. Clapton’s attitude was ‘FU this is the last show and I’m outta here’.
Neil Young
Any rapper.
Retards
Attempting
Poetry
And Springsteen
Yeah, me too, but strangely enough, I agree with the rest on the list.
Of course, it is not hard to identify overrated musicians. The record companies promote them hard in an effort make money.
The video is cheesy, but it's a classic simply because the scene on the stoop was filmed at the same location in New York City's East Village that was on the cover of Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti album.
The Doors and Eric Clapton.
CCR’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” is great. They were very talented. I agree about Michael Jakson. He had some great singles, and great dances/videos, but much of the late 80s-2009 is just bland pop.
There is no way The Rolling Stones are over rated. They are hyped maybe but they are great.
1a. Any and all hip-hop “artists.”
2. The Eagles. Southern-fried crap from the U.K.
3. Nickelback. Too easy, I know. But that ANYONE likes them means they’re over-rated.
4. Grateful Dead. No different than any open-mic night at your nearby coffee bar.
5. Oasis. Good. Not Beatles good.
6. Disco-era Rolling Stones. C’mon people, “I’m so ha ha ha; she’s so ha ha ha?” Really?
7. Bob Dylan. Giving him a pass on the fact that he can’t sing, what’s so special about his lyrics? He plagiarized most of them.
8. Carole King. Do you realize her “Tapestry” sold 25 million albums???
9. AC-DC. I needed one heavy-metal band, Sure, “You shook me” is a great fist-pumper, but they’re all french fries, no steak. You wanna defend, “Big Balls?” Even “Dirty Deeds?” Keep in mind, this isn’t “bands that suck.” This is “over-rated.” Do you realize they’re better selling the Rolling Stones?
10. Journey. Compare them to Foreigner, Boston, Kansas, Survivor. Then go read the lyrics to “Don’t Stop Believing.” Seriously.
I've heard Eric Clapner, I think it was a wonderful thing that Eric Clapner the musician did.
So I think that's the wonderful part about it, but listen - I like Eric Clapner.
