I thought that although the Brennan/Comey spin was that “all 17 agencies in the national security community” agreed with their Russian hacker narrative, only 2 really did (themselves). NSA said the evidence was insufficient to support their conclusions. Am I misremembering this?

The article says the NSA would have had the evidence had a Russian hacking incident occurred, and faults them for not saying “no incident occurred”. Being 100% sure of a negative is a tall order (and they would not want to prove publicly how they would know), so I am not surprised the NSA would dodge saying that.

Taken together, these disparate data points combine to paint a picture that exonerates alleged Russian hackers and implicates persons within our law enforcement and intelligence community taking part in a campaign of misinformation, deceit and incompetence. It is not a pretty picture.

A campaign of misinformation, deceit and collusion with the DNC to usurp Democracy. The person who downloaded needed a password to access the system. Password access over the subject period would enable tracing of each access activity. And that's why the server was wiped 'like with a cloth'
