Jimmys home is a landmark and a national treasure. Its history goes well beyond the McMansion Williams owns. I have been following this and Williams is a dick. Page has infinite more class , talent and taste then that low IQ creatin. Page is right in this , his home which is a historical landmark is being ruined from the underground work Williams is doing to his fagpad.

Thanks for your post. I agree wholeheartedly. Who would have thought Jimmy Page would become so aristocratic? I wish him well.

I've been following this as well, and I agree that Williams is not being a very nice neighbor.

But consider this from a property rights perspective...what gives Page the power to hamstring Williams' property rights? To be sure, if construction activity on Williams' property impacts any structural element of Page's property, that's a direct violation of Page's property and that should be taken into account (which per the article, is probably why workers can't use a backhoe and have to use shovels). Beyond that, classical liberals would say "build away, Mr. Williams."

As for the "harassment," yea...Williams sounds like a real piece of work (though I find it funny that Jimmy is upset by the music of other bands) and I don't condone his behavior. But I find it hard to have sympathy for an old man who had sex with a 14-year old back in the day.

Page refers to himself as the "caretaker" of the home and doesn't want the damage to happen under his watch. He's aware that this house, here before he was, will be here long after he's gone.

Plus, I'll defer to Page's expertise on the the capability of excessive loud noise to cause damage. He stood in front of John Bonham for a fair amount of time.
