ROBBIE Williams is "tormenting" neighbour Jimmy Page by blasting Black Sabbath and dressing up his Led Zeppelin bandmate Robert Plant, a letter claims.
The pair have been locked in a feud over the Take That star's plans for a mega-basement pool at his £17.5million mansion in London.
Page, 75, insists the work would damage his Grade I listed home with its valuable mosaics.
The plans were were passed by the council last month.
But according to a bizarre letter sent to the council, written by a man named only as 'Johnny'.
It claims Robbie was aping Led Zep singer Plant by wearing a long wig and stuffing a pillow up his shirt as a fake beer belly.
Robbie strongly denies the claims.
The note, to Kensington and Chelsea borough says the Angels singer has been blaring out Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple whenever he sees Plant outside.
Posted on line, it reads: "It has come to my attention of possible new evidence and information that could have a bearing on the ruling or any appeal process.
The committee may not have been aware that Robbie Williams has been playing loud 70's rock music on outside speakers when he views Jimmy Page outside his home.
"What's been most annoying is that Mr Williams has played rock arch rival bands Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple.
"He obviously knows this upsets Mr Jimmy Page.

The loud sound that Page now hears is the ringing in his ears.
With a bit of Beethoven mixed in.
Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath were better bands.
And Jimmy Page knows it.
Live performances tell the tale.
Of note: Both superior bands had but one guitar player, just like Jimmy’s band.
“but he WAS and always will be the best riff maker”
Nonsense.
That honor is shared by Toni Iommi and Keith Richards.
Page refers to himself as the "caretaker" of the home and doesn't want the damage to happen under his watch. He's aware that this house, here before he was, will be here long after he's gone.
Plus, I'll defer to Page's expertise on the the capability of excessive loud noise to cause damage. He stood in front of John Bonham for a fair amount of time.
I did not know that.
In England it does.
Saw him play with the Black Crow back when and he was pretty damn good from what I can remember:-)
I also agree that Pink Floyd was a better all-around band, though I'd put Deep Purple ahead of Sabbath in the ranking. I'd put all three ahead of Zeppelin but we cannot deny Zeppelin's 110+ million albums sold in the US, bested only by The Beatles, Garth Brooks, Elvis Presley, and The Eagles.
Zep put out two great studio albums, both dominated by Jon Bonham...#1 and Physical Graffitti. The rest of their albums span from mediocre to lousy.
I saw them twice live.
The sucked both times, and I mean sucked.
Saw both Sabbath and Floyd live twice too. Both times they both burned the house down, leaving all who attended simply stunned with wonderment.

Not to hijack my own thread, but there IS a tremendous amount of quality new music in the world. I think old guys like me would prefer to whine and watch The Last Waltz instead of get off yer butt and spend $10 at a local bar and listen to 3-5 unsigned bands. Yea, a few of them will suck, but I guarantee you will hear one or two bands that renew your faith in the future of rock. Heck, maybe the young guns can have you pry $20 from your wallet and buy a shirt and a CD.
I get it: Maroon 5's halftime show was the pits and Taylor Swift and Katy Perry aren't Heart. But with a vast array of technology at their fingertips, and a work ethic that sometimes borders on manic (yes Virginia, there are Deplorable Millenials), kids today are cranking out low-cost but (sometimes) high-octane music that would make Pete Townshend smile. Seek, and ye shall find.
I saw Sabbath also at Live Aid (they were on earlier vs Zeppelin in Philadelphia) and on the 13 tour and they were pretty solid. I wasn't stunned by Sabbath but they held their own (the Scorpions were better when I saw them a few years earlier, as was Judas Priest last year).
The closest I got to seeing Floyd was Roger Waters' Wall Tour, which was the best multimedia extravaganza I ever saw...of course with his mask off and he's gone full anti-Semite I am boycotting him. I'd love to see David Gilmour.
I assume this is the show you are referring to.
Jimmy Page had the best rhythm section since Cream and still is arrhythmic with them. Simply Bizarre.

From the same year, here is a superior band. Tighter. More melodic. Synchronized and TIGHT.
And far, far better song writing.

1985 was not the real Black Sabbath.
Nor was the 13 tour, but it was closer.
Yeah, Judas Priest was one of the best ever. Especially live.
Just wow.
Both times I saw Floyd had Gilmour (of course), and once with Waters. Waters added nothing to the live performance besides a couple of songs. There are 100,000 basists that could play his part.
If put the 1970 Royal Albert Hall version against the early 1970s Sabbath and the 1972 Made in Japan version of Deep Purple, THAT would be a great debate (I'd pick DP...Ian Paice, baby).
“If put the 1970 Royal Albert Hall version against the early 1970s Sabbath and the 1972 Made in Japan version of Deep Purple”
The point is Zeppelin loses in all scenarios.
The most over-rated band of the 70s, though they had two really good records, they couldn’t replicate any of it on stage.
Great bands are ALWAYS great live bands.
Personally I think Achilles Last Stand is LZ's best song and I much prefer Presence to every other album except LZ II. So my mileage may vary.
My problem with LZ was the blatant plagiarism and their blowing all that off, and Page's affair with Lori Maddox. That said, JPJ is a decent guy and a great talent and Plant has nice things to say about Greta Van Fleet so the irony isn't lost on him.
I'd still rather listen to Zeppelin than Bruce Springsteen or the Stones, but deep tracks of Black Sabbath's are better than Sick Again or Boogie with Stu.
And as I wrote elsewhere, Page has no extra property rights beyond his property line.
Led Zep was in a class all its own and had no “arch rivals”. Especially the likes of Black Sabbath and Deep Purple.
Page isn't my favorite guitarist so Tony trumps him at pretty much every turn so, yes, on those two video clips Page is the loser. But the other three members of Zeppelin were, as a unit, better IMHO than the other three of BS in this comparison, ergo my ranking.
But the Sabbath on that Paris video surpasses any Zeppelin live product - visual or audio - from The Song Remains The Same through O2.
