Needs headlight protection, but hey, I can do that myself.
Me like.
Some folks say a motorcycle is the best way to go........
Nothing stays under the radar and says “nothing to see here” better than a $100k armored vehicle rolling through da hood......
OMG I would drive this like I stole it.
What’s the fuel capacity and mileage?
Trying to fill your gas tank up AFTER the shooting starts will be one daunting adventure!
Forty gallon fuel tank, but can’t find any mileage data.
I think I will just decide to panic early and get out of town so I don’t need all this.
So, how many miles outside of L.A. will it get when ALL the traffic stops?
UTV buggy or scooter would make better survival vehicles.
Just what you need in a post apocalyptic world.....and lots of Barry Manilow CDs to go with it.
Prett, but useless without a Ma Duece. And what’s with the luxury interior? Can the engine be retrofitted to bypass the computers? Does it have gun racks inside? A modified cow catcher up front with engine and light protection is a must, as is self-sealing fuel tanks.
Inquiring minds need answers.
No turret for the .50? Pppfft.
I would rather buy an old ratty, definitely smelly septic tank truck, steam clean the living daylights out of the innards and then install a fake entrance.
But keep a small reservoir of effluent that conveniently drips for effects.
Deck it out with full exterior cameras, air filtration, and equip it with military grade solar panels and an electric motorcycle.
In an EMP this would be a pretty boat anchor.
Oh, and nice SUV...
I don’t know what environment this is designed to operate in.
However, having spent a year living on a rural road that is hilly and muddy, and generally rough, I can confidently say this thing would be pretty darned useless off pavement unless in a dry area.
It’s heavy, the tires will quickly load up with mud, and it barely has enough clearance to go anywhere. Not to mention those pretty front lights won’t last 10 minutes going through any sort of brush.
And if the operator has never driven it off pavement when the time comes and he/she needs to, their chances of getting anywhere without incident are pretty small. Experience is at least as valuable as your equipment.
JMHO.
And I don’t see a winch.
Other than that, it’s great. ;)
how many gallons/mile?
My 2001 Camry is a road warrior.
