And here’s the process I use:
1. Shamelessly download meme to my desktop via right click, save image as...
2. Go to my Fickr account and click the upload cloud thingy.
3. Find the meme I downloaded to my desktop and drag it into the Flickr upload screen.
4. Go back to my Flickr account and click on the meme I just uploaded. When it displays, click the share arrow, and select the EMBED form of sharing. Copy the code presented to my clipboard.
5. Paste copied code into Free Republic post reply screen and remove all but the (Left Arrow) img src=”https:// farm#.staticflickr.com/...jpg or png etc. up to and including the width = “640” part, and add a > at the end. Edit post with appropriate HTML if adding any additional text or images. (Mostly just left arrow, p, right arrow to end lines or separate images.
6. Preview! Edit some more... Preview!
7. Decide whether to post or not.
8. Post Anyway!
