“Heres a piece of context: My ownership of the Washington Post is a complexifier for me. Its unavoidable that certain powerful people who experience Washington Post news coverage will wrongly conclude I am their enemy.” - Jeff Bezos
Yes, you run the WaPo. You ARE my enemy.

Jeez, I was expecting this to be somebody’s opus posted in Breaking News, somebody looking to go out with a bang.

Never been a fan of Bezos but I give him major props for not folding and, in fact, telling AMI to go suck an egg. This guy has more billions than I do movie DVDs, what are they going to do to him? I like how AMI is going with the strong implication that Bezos is having an affair with Ms. Sanchez (whoever that is; I'm sure I could Google her but I don't care). Pictures with your wedding ring on, don't scare me!!!

So, is this outright blackmail, or just two parties trying to settle a disagreement outside the Tort System? Considering Bezos went public rather than forwarding to the DOJ, I gather his lawyers don’t think it can be blackmail. That said, I am not a lawyer, and it’s been a long time since I stayed at a Holiday Inn.

How about I believe both Bezos and the blackmail media are wrong.
Bezos committed adultery and in some states such as mine, that is still on the books as a prosecutable felony crime.

This sounds like possible criminal activity. Isn’t blackmail/extortion unlawful?
