The black Lt.Gov. Fairfax will be forced out by charges of rape.
The Gov. will appoint another Democrat as Lt. Gov.
I think Northam will try to survive as Gov. with the blackface and infanticide issues, but if not and he resigns, the new Lt. Gov will become Governer and can appoint another Democrat as Lt. Gov.
If this all happens the optics will look terrible for the VA Democratic party. If they are smart they will not let Northam hang on until election season.
Texas Demagogue Al Green offers a great example of the logical fallacy of "False Cause" in wanting to impeach the President for what happened in VA. He is, of course, the thing he pretends to diagnose, a racist.
And, as noted before, it is not-of-little-import that, VA is a beltway State (part of DC is carved out of VA) and Virginia was a slave state (tobacco)...copperheads.
