Sometimes I think women are willfully ignorant. I think I shared this a couple of threads back. I was expecting a baby when I worked at a large bank in Florida. I miscarried and was so sad .. went back to work.. one of my co-workers said, “I don’t know why you’re so upset - it wasn’t really a baby.”
She actually believed that.
Obviously she was a Democrat....

And it never dawned on her that the fact you were grieving might mean she didn’t have a clue? I miscarried once. I might have responded to such a person in a not so nice way at the time.
I used to work in a Pregnancy Counseling Center and yes, there are women who have no clue. We would share a video of baby development in the womb. So many were amazed as it was something they were never taught at home or at school. Thankfully that information changed minds and saved lives.
