A little late help please .........

Hey folks ……….

I‘m old and not well.

Unhappily, I am very ignorant about computers.

I want to transfer a couple of my old dogs’ pictures to my profile page ……… before it’s too late. But I need some help to do it.

The dogs have a certain feeling about me, and I’d like to leave them here for you to know me a bit.

Does anyone know how to tell a computer illiterate like me how to pass two dog (.jpg’s) to my profile page????

I’d like to let you all know who I am before it’s too late. The two poochies say nearly everything.

************************

Love from here ………..

Sadly it is not an easy thing.

Baloney. Anyone with the desire and a modicum of intelligence can learn the basic HTML command to post images here in less than an hour.

Go to the keywords at the top of the FR index (forum) page and click on 'HTML Sandbox'.

I meant that it is not an easy thing like at some other forum sites where you can easily upload an image or other file directly to their own server from the reply form, and have it appear in your post.

It is a hassle to have to register at a picture hosting site, figure out their rules, and then figure out how to post the image from there onto their profile.

While you are correct that anyone with the desire and a modicum of intelligence can figure it out if they really want to learn, in your arrogance you assume that a sick elderly person should have to go through all that for a one-time use..

in your arrogance you assume that a sick elderly person should have to go through all that for a one-time use.

"All that"? You could have learned to post pictures with HTML in less time than you've spent posting to this thread.

And don't you dare pull the 'old and sick' card on me. I probably have as much grey hair as you, and I'm battling stage four cancer.

"....I'm battling stage four cancer.

Well, that explains a lot.

I wish you a miraculous recovery fast and complete.

Thank you, friend. I try not to mention it too often. We hear too much of that sort of news in this community.

This describes the relationship between siblings and their dogs, friends and several neighbors on our block. These people need a live dog not memories to make their live's complete. Every time they lose a dog to illness or old age, they swear "That is it, no more dogs." Fortunately, we as neighbors, friends or siblings, tell them that they need a dog now, not later. They listen to us and get another dog. In less than a week, they and the new dog have bonded. They and their new dog are walking together and being introduced to their neighbors.
