A woman who helped to bring down a Brazilian faith healer accused of sex abuse has taken her own life in Spain.
Sabrina Bittencourt, 38, died at her home in Barcelona just days after accusing John of God - real name Joao Teixeira de Faria - of running a 'sex slave farm'.
She claimed young girls were held captive in a farming operation which exported babies on the black market.
The women would be murdered after ten years of having babies in the alleged scheme run by the 77-year-old celebrity faith healer, who was arrested last year after hundreds of women accused him of abuse, she said.
The activist committed suicide and left a farewell note explaining the reasons why she took her own life.'

Did she stab herself in the back ten times?
Arkancide! Bill and Hillary were clients of hers (John of god)
Oh, article forgot to mention, he was the faith healer of Clinton’s and Oprah.
Serious question...is there anyone here that honestly believes this woman really took her own life.
...suicide...
Did you notice that they said President Clinton went to visit him, but it shows a photo of Trump.
I’m not sure about suicide. I think too many people were angry about losing money for selling children on the black market. They may have offed her in revenge.
Anyone else remember Monica Peterson who 2 years ago was investigating the Clintons in Haiti and also committed suicide?
I do.
Wonder what travel allowances Pickles gives foundation button-people?
I’m sure the CCC is equal opportunity for hired eliminators.
I’m not really buying suicide either. Far too convenient for them.
It’s like the Arkansas sheriff, who had just hauled a dead black man wrapped in chains out of a lake said, “Looks like he stole more chain than he could swim with.”
They corner their victims. They will go after their families if there is no suicide. Then they say we will kill your family and then come for you anyway after.
So they have Arkancides in Brazil, too!
The accusation include claims of serial murder. Have any bodies turned up?
She left two letters one online and one by her body. Has anyone seen what they said?
That’s probably the case, which is why I firmly believe in a good offense.
Seriously, they mention the note and don’t say what it says. Media jerks
Acid baths?
The organization , whatever it was actually doing, was very lucrative. That area is a Ghost Town now. No more white-robed tourists seeking spiritual guidance. She describes a virtual Baby Farm, where women were killed after 10 years of ‘production’. If she was making it up, she was quite ill.
If she was correct, what an incredibly awful existence for those women. What men or what Doctor was impregnating them?
Most of those secrets will die with her, or lay dormant for a few years until a survivor is brave enough to talk.
This sounds a lot like Guyanna without the Koolaid.
