“And how do we make Cultural Revolution?” she demanded.
“By destroying the American family!” they answered.
“How do we destroy the family?” she came back.
“By destroying the American Patriarch,” they cried exuberantly.
“And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?” she replied.
“By taking away his power!”
“How do we do that?”
“By destroying monogamy!” they shouted.
“How can we destroy monogamy?”
Their answer left me dumbstruck, breathless, disbelieving my ears. Was I on planet earth? Who were these people?

“By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution and homosexuality!” they resounded.

They proceeded with a long discussion on how to advance these goals by establishing The National Organization of Women. It was clear they desired nothing less than the utter deconstruction of Western society. The upshot was that the only way to do this was “to invade every American institution. Every one must be permeated with ‘The Revolution’”: The media, the educational system, universities, high schools, K-12, school boards, etc.; then, the judiciary, the legislatures, the executive branches and even the library system.

It fell on my ears as a ludicrous scheme, as if they were a band of highly imaginative children planning a Brinks robbery; a lark trumped up on a snowy night amongst a group of spoiled brats over booze and hashish...

I remember them hyping Renee Richards back then. A guy tennis player saying he was a woman. I think he actually had “new” surgery for those days.

I believe that it was full gender reassignment surgery... but of course, the Left quickly dropped Renee Richards as a pioneer and icon when he (born Richard Raskin) publicly stated that he regretted getting the surgery. About half of all who get it also have that regret.

Does anyone here remember 1993-1996? Bill Clinton is hailed as a hero for passing "Don't Ask Don't Tell", and the movie "The Birdcage" makes $185m at the box office (on a $31m budget)

Does anyone here remember 2006-2019? Republican are excoriated as monsters for passing Don't Ask Don't Tell, and people get punished and lose their jobs for saying "but you're not a woman"... just as Armand (played by Robin Williams) said to his lover Albert (Nathan Lane) in the iconic movie.

Albert: Don't give me that tone!
Armand: What tone?
Albert: That sarcastic contemptuous tone that means you know everything because you're a man, and I know nothing because I'm a woman.

Never saw that video until right now. But, it sums up the 1970’s attitude that it’s okay for a boy to play with dolls, it’s okay for a girl to play baseball, etc.

Today, according to the Left, that means the child is the opposite sex on the inside. The Left is bonkers. They’re not even liberal anymore.

It's been going on much longer than that. George William Jorgensen Jr. got the ball rolling (no pun intended) in 1951 and magically became Christine Jorgensen after having surgery in Denmark.

In the late '50s and early 60s he would appear in various newspaper articles and on some of first TV talk shows (Open End, The David Susskind Show) to parade his mental illness.
