Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend.
Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.

My 8 year old bulldog Angus went to heaven a week ago today. He had heart failure and quit eating so we had to make the tough decision. I miss him terribly. Thank goodness my Mastiff who is 9 years old is still doing pretty well. He slept cuddled up with me every night so going to bed is really tough. He was the best dog.
Sorry about your boy if you read this Michael. I know what you are going through.

Condolences to Michael. I have his book about Teddy and will miss him talking about Teddy on the show. He said on today’s show that he won’t be getting another dog anytime soon.

I know the pain.
And do I EVER. Nothing like it in my life.

I have had to put down a few dogs in my time. Broke my heart and I cried like a baby every time. God put dogs on the Earth to show us that there is a living thing that well love us more than we love each other. And sometimes more then we love ourselves.

Too bad about the dog. As for Weiner, well, too bad about him too.

Im very sorry to hear this for Michael.

I cried when I did it. Hurts like Hell, often more than a human bereavement.

When you get a dog you have to be prepared for when it dies.
