Dunno, really. I moved to Fresno when I was 19 to go to Fresno State. Only went back a few times. There was a huge push due to the space shuttle supposedly coming to Vandenberg and many hotels were built in anticipation of growth. Then that got cancelled. I think its not much bigger 26k population during my time) than it was.
I think the "Mexican" population got a lot bigger. That's about all I really know.
It was a really cool town, though. Not sure what it is now.
That's about all I know.
It is a question, and so the question mark is written.
LOL, would have been funny if the Pips had shown up.
Back in the day we went to an oldies concert that among others, had Gladys Knight and the Pips. However, apparently she had a big fight with them that morning so all we got that evening was “...and the Pips.
They were actually pretty good just by themselves.
“They were actually pretty good just by themselves.”
They were guests on a very short lived TV show called Tom Smothers’ Organic Space Ride (or something like that)
They did the entire backup for Midnight Train to Georgia without Gladys. It was amazing. I could hear Gladys in my head. I loved it.
Agreed, and thanks for the response.
Always thought Lompoc would be a great place to raise a young family. Even if not on the PTA, one would likely bump into their children's teachers on a frequent basis.
Won't even ask you about Fresno or San Joaquin Valley in general.
Oh brother as I roll my eyes....their ratings rebounded strongly this year. It’s a great game. If you don’t have one those meters, your personal boycott doesn’t matter anyway.
Because the song ends in a question mark.
Honest.
You are a friggin idiot who doesn’t know the US National Anthem.
Seriously? Do you know the lyrics end in the form of a question?
You are looking for trouble where there is none.
.
I go by only one meter. Mine!
Had friends stay at our house over the holidays and asked to watch the NFL game on TV and I wouldnt let them. No NFL on any of my tvs. My house, my rules! My meter!
So, anyone that watched. What was the Social Justice message from Adam Levine? My bet is it was nothing so not to upset his fan base. Little rich white girls.
Four fried chickens and a coke.
And some dry white toast.
In the 1970’s and the 1980’s the crowds attending Atlanta Braves games ROARED on that last word “brave”. It was awesome and reached down to my soul.
Those crackers stoled it from us.
You see what you want to see........There was absolutely no mention of the cloud formation outside the stadium at that time that clearly resembled a puppy. As everyone knows, that was the launch of the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet...........
Talk about censorship, not a word from the MSM.............Unbelievable!!!!!
If you look up who those people are, you'd discover that that is their natural expressions.
John Lewis looks like he's perpetually sucking a lemon.
The last stanza is a question. Questions usually have question marks.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
That ship has sailed.
