Hard cider could have liter, obviouslly fermented smelling cider all over everything. There were very small glass shards embedded in the cabinet bottom, the wall, and the ceiling. The largest remaining fragment was the round glass of handle.
Had it exploded while I was present in the kitchen, I would have been severely injured.
The cause is a mystery but had to be stirred up air currents that triggered the event

You had a fermenting accident with Hard Cider! I had one with beer once! Too much priming in the bottles!
