OK , I didn’t see the “Lt gov is elected” post.

How does the slim Rep majority figure in to both the gov & Lt. Gov having scandals exposed right now & enough to get them both booted?

Dem tactic to get a worse AG in there? Or what?

I think that many will see that the Dhimmicrat ones were not trust worthy and would be more inclined to replace them with Republican ones.

Might even make that fall election turn for the Pubbies. Which, of course, WILL be the subject of today’s “emergency meeting”.

That’s how elections work now a days.

Honest Injun: Is the AG a Pubbie?

I think that if both played out right now, there would be some time lapse for things to come to a head. One must always look to the next election cycle.

Expected timeline (unless things change):
-Northam resigns (effective Feb 15?)
-LTGov becomes Gov. Schedules a special election (quickly...like 30 days notice if Constitution allows-need to read it, yet)
-Ethics/assault story builds to crescendo and he resigns, likely around 30-60 days ^after^ the special election.
-This should lead us up to the regular legislative election in the fall.
-New Gov. is hamstrung and will need to schedule a special election sometime after the regular (notification requirements, etc.) Dhimmicrats would count on voter fatigue to hold the special election.

So, we could be looking at a string of elections over the next 10 months that will wear down the VA voter. The big question mark is how much will the “dueling scandals” impact the regular fall election?

I think we could see a party swing in VA. Manchin might change parties as a result.

Remember VA is a “collar state”; it borders The Swamp.

“””Dem tactic to get a worse AG in there? Or what?”””

Their tactic is to retain power. Problem: INFANTCIDE

We shouldn’t let any amount of Northam’s blackface coverup the baby killer’s agenda.

The gaming is already underway for this Fall’s election and who will retain or gain power in VA:
