The reason that so many states are now trying to pass these insane baby killing laws is due to the status of Ruth Ginsburg. Babykillers know that when POTUS achieves confirmation of a Justice to replace Ginsburg, that Roe v. Wade is certain to be overturned, hence the mad evil scramble to change state laws ahead of a future overturning.

True, but they are also pushing the envelope further than usually acknowledged in law and court opinions. Roe v Wade was purely and simply elite eugenics legislation from the bench.

The Church leaders, Christians, and States should have immediately demanded a constitutional amendment to define a person/life as beginning at conception, and restricted abortion. It would have been a lot easier to do back then.

Perhaps a ban on full-term abortion is left intact, the federal judiciary has a foothold on banning further back.

Don’t you these evil states that pass legalization of full-term abortion for any reason are preparing a 10 Amendment defense that abortion is fully legal at all stages and under all circumstances, that the federal government has no say in what limits and extents to what a state has decided?

Leaving a restriction against abortion for the third trimester leaves an entry point for the federal judiciary to apply their ruling scope when Roe v. Wade is overturned.

There is a principle in federalism and legal jurisprudence, I forget exactly what it’s called but if the federal judiciary rules that “something is to be banned”, and a state rules or legislates that the same “something must be banned but modified to the state”, a principle of conformity says the federal judiciary can compel the state to uniform application according to the federal ruling.

In other words, if a state acts in whole or in part with a federal ruling, the state can be compelled to act in full conformity with the federal ruling as the ruling is owned by the federal judiciary.

That is perhaps one reason the evil states went full bore for abortion without restriction.

I had a similar thought, but I also think it is tied to the human trafficking getting cut off and now they think they need to find whatever it is they need through another means.

Either way it’s ghoulish.
