Yeh, the SOBs kept knocking down State Laws against abortion, back in the day. Like I said, sentiment was such that a constitutional amendment should have been rigorously pursued to make abortion illegal.

The longer things go on, the more acclimatized the people become to this atrocity.

I’ve read both your comments more than once trying to figure out the meaning.
Are you saying that if (hopefully when) SCOTUS overturns Roe V Wade, that states with no restrictions abortion laws can not follow the SCOTUS decision?
**************************************************************************************
I’m not sure I understood what Hostage was saying, but to answer your question, SCOTUS rules, states must follow-although it seems that California does what it darn well pleases.

My point was that back when Roe v Wade was decided, it was a supposed constitutional right that was quoted by the Supremes. Well if the Federal constitution was amended to say no abortion, child is alive at conception, etc. then the Supremes decision would have been scuttled.

I had a similar thought, but I also think it is tied to the human trafficking getting cut off and now they think they need to find whatever it is they need through another means.
Either way it’s ghoulish.

Yes, lots of crap-including the sale of body parts not doubt. Goulish, Evil, and Unforgiveable to me.

> “Are you saying that if (hopefully when) SCOTUS overturns Roe V Wade, that states with no restrictions abortion laws can not follow the SCOTUS decision?”

All the state laws on abortion, reproductive health, whatever, all are based on Roe v. Wade legalizing abortion. The state laws rest on top of the 1973 US Supreme Court ruling.

When that 1973 ruling is overturned, the state laws have nothing to stand on.

So PP lawyers are writing the plan for all these states to write new laws without restriction because then they can tie up the courts for years based on 10th Amendment arguments.

Their plan is to delay, delay, resist, resist, in the hopes that somehow they get power back and return to business as usual.

IMO PP should be held accountable for trafficking in dead baby parts. There was an undercover video report two years ago that caught them in the act but PP friendly courts sealed the evidence and the media never mentions the case.

PP is Satanic. There is no question in my view.

Well, people do and are waking up. We are living in a new era of The Great Awakening.

Note one important thing regarding constitutional amendments:

To block a constitutional amendment from ratification and enactment requires 13 out of 50 states.

Presently, 12 states are Blue. That means conservatives have the upper hand on ratifying amendments if they are organized to do so. There are many conservative organizations that are of great influence such as the Convention of States which Mark Levin is part of the governing board.

But here is the thing to remember:

Leftists need 13 states to block conservatives. Where can they get one more?

Puerto Rico.

Where can they get another?

District of Columbia.

Statehood for these two will not only give the Left a total of 4 more US Senators, but it will also enable them to stop conservatives from ever amending the Constitution.

I have a question. When Northam resigns and Fairfax sworn in, what happens if something comes out on him? How would replacing him work? All new election?

“””I have a question. When Northam resigns and Fairfax sworn in, what happens if something comes out on him? How would replacing him work? All new election?”””

I had read a couple of different things and wasn’t sure, so I found this, though I don’t know how up to date it is:

“At any time, a sitting Governor may transmit a written statement to both the President Pro Tem of the Senate and the Speaker of the House that she is temporarily unable to serve, at which time the Lieutenant Governor becomes Acting Governor. The Governor resumes her duties by making a second written declaration to the same two officers.

If, at the time a vacancy occurs, an emergency prevents the Assembly from convening, the preordained line of succession behind the Governor and the Lieutenant Governor is as follows:

- the Speaker of the House of Delegates
- the Delegate named to act as the Speaker’s stead in the Rules of the House of Delegates
- the President Pro Tem of the Senate
- the Majority Leader of the Senate

Such an individual serves as Acting Governor until the General Assembly is able to convene.

The General Assembly also has the discretion to pass a law that waives the eligibility requirements to serve as Governor or Acting Governor. Such a law may only apply in an “emergency or enemy attack upon the soil of Virginia” and only when the Governor or the duly appointed officer has proclaimed an emergency.”

Blink. Blink. Blink. Woken up at 01:30 by elderly dog unable to get up. Get said dog up on her feet. Take said dog out to pee. Take her back inside. Go down into my office because I’m now unable to sleep. 02:10. Take dog back outside to pee again. Said dog pees and then wanders around aimlessly until I convince her to come inside. Sitting here now waiting for her to settle down and go to sleep.

Normal people put dogs like this down because of age, unable to get up, losing 75% of their fur, incontinence, etc. Not my wife. Normal people get to get *&^%ing bed, then get the *&^% up and go to work.

Apparently I’m not among those people.

I had to vent here because it’s the only place I can. I can’t do it on FB because my wife is the person causing this entire situation.

Not sure how much longer I can put up with this.

1. Sympathies.

2. Twould seem to me that they who insist on causing a ripple in the space-time continuum are also responsible for cleaning up the mess left in the continuum.
