Because Gab's founders made a very bad decision to allow "Gas the Kikes!" actual Nazis to have a happy home there. Even after Pittsburgh, they have barely toned it down. Instead of paying moderators and having a sane posting policy, Gab used a blocking function so you just would not see the Nazi postings once you blocked them. But this had the unintended consequence of giving the worst of these pro-Zykon B freaks a happy hidden cellar to ramp each other up to even greater "I love Hitler!" insanity. Even now Gab is a Nazi recruiting zone. Every tenth post is about Da Evil Jooz. Folks who engage those posters get linked to worse rings of hell. Today.

I joined Gab about a year ago but hardly use it because of the anti-semitic Nazi garbage that is allowed to exist there. I was willing to ignore it and just do my thing but those people would engage me and send me links to that stuff. Most likely, some of them were trolls who are out to discredit anybody that is conservative or pro-Trump.
Trump would be a fool to open an account there. And Trump is no fool.
That's one thing that makes Free Republic special among conservative websites. They actively moderate the site and ensure that anything posted like that here gets immediately zotted out of existence.

GAB is this way but even if it weren’t Trump would use Twitter because in addition to offering wider exposure he makes Progressive heads explode and outs both their totalitarian marxist views and their insanity. On GAB they would never see it to react before thinking.

That third one reminds me of how Big Media portrays gun owners and pro-life people.
