Twitter deliberately spreads disinformation on a worldwide scale. It employs manipulative algorithms to suppress opposing views. It decides what stories are important - whether it's a child smiling at an Indian, or a baby-voiced headcase claiming she was almost raped at an imaginary party 40 years ago. It has unprecedented power over the media and which stories are covered.
Why does Trump use a service that is so destructive and so biased against the right? If he left twitter for another service, twitter would lose a lot of its power and influence.

Trump *is* Twitter and Eric or Don Jr could become the next tech billionaires if they launch a service. I’m not sure of the legal ramifications (the Logan act?) but I think the day will come.

Twitter was on its way out until the 2016 election drama. Trump made it relevant again, and it uses its relevancy to destroy the lives of innocent people. Twitter was the driving force behind the Covington Catholic hate campaign. Children were getting death threats on twitter, and they wouldn’t even remove the tweets. In fact, they were fanning the flames of hate.
They would use it if he was on it. That’s the point.
It doesn’t have to be gab, it can be any platform that’s not twitter.
Almost no prominent conservatives want to be associated with a place as innocuous as Free Republic. A site that allows overt Jew-hate is going to be even farther off-limits.
Obviously, Gab must censor some Jew-hate, as it will absolutely take over any social site that allows it. It’s not even a matter of being friendly to Jews; it’s self-preservation.

My cat will miss him on Twitter. Or maybe not. She has her own Twitter account and follows other cats. Lots of them there, still. hunting for whatever it is that’s twittering............
