Twitter deliberately spreads disinformation on a worldwide scale. It employs manipulative algorithms to suppress opposing views. It decides what stories are important - whether it's a child smiling at an Indian, or a baby-voiced headcase claiming she was almost raped at an imaginary party 40 years ago. It has unprecedented power over the media and which stories are covered.

Why does Trump use a service that is so destructive and so biased against the right? If he left twitter for another service, twitter would lose a lot of its power and influence.

Most of the people here who seem to be against free speech are what we would call Fudds in the 2A world. They are kind of stuck in the past where things were safer and more fun. Gab isn’t sponsoring genocide. And they cooperate with law enforcement to deal with actual threats (something FB has not done so well at, never mind Twitter).

One problem is that I don’t want to type in any of the terms being discussed, and I don’t want to see what they might result in. Looking at the comments on the video, folks are claiming the same badness is on YT, FB and Twitter. I don’t know! I would think that if Mr. Torba is a big Jew-hater, then he’s a bit Muslim-booster. But I have not seen evidence of that.

If Torba is pushing or tolerating pedo stuff, he will find his ass busted big time, I think.

Yeah, I've seen strong opinions on GAB from other posters on FR. Same MO too - unhinged and accusational when challenged.

There was a poster some months back - 'Perservnando' or some such name, shilling a controlled-opinion website. This guy had a lot of the same reaction toward GAB posters.

No, I'm not supporting child porn or Jew hate by participating on GAB.

I don't think Torba or Monster would put up with any known pedo content, and if you're so thin skinned that a crudely drawn anti-semetic cartoon or idiotic comment hurts you, you're in the wrong hobby.

IMHO, there's a second agenda behind these rants, or a very poorly developed way of winning friends and influencing people.
