This dates from before the election, but considering the former profession of the face of the Democrat party, it is appropriate. The rankings may have changed since then

Miners. Businessmen. Farmers. Landlords. Truckers.

The people who create and supply necessities such as work, food, and shelter, and then transport same.

Teachers, Social workers and Counselors should be near the bottom.

Another word for them is propagandist, activist or leftest agitators.

If journalists are among the respected professions, this whole list is suspect.

I’d bet people have more respect for a truck stop crack whore than most journalists.

AOC is a perfect example of a modern bartender example. Now older bartenders were a great ear!

Food, Clothing, Shelter, Self-actualization. In that order. Using that the list is wrong.

Of course, the list is based on a survey of the sheeple and therefore as flawed as the general population is. As usual, their opinion has very little logic attached to it. For example, if you don’t have food you won’t need a medical worker. Without producers of fiber you can’t have clothes and so forth.

The bottom of the list is most correct. Politicians and athletes rank right there with bar tenders. Interesting, athletes are ranked so low but paid so high and are the foundation of our sports centric mania.

Artists are pretty low on the list. But actors probably think they should be #1.
