Former Ohio governor John Kasich has been shamed for stealing another passenger's first class seat on an Alaska Airlines flight after being bumped out of his own to make room for a pilot.
Kasich, 66, was flying from JFK in New York to San Francisco on January 16 - two weeks after handing over the governorship and his access to state planes to Mark DeWine - when he took comedian Julie Klausner's seat.
According to Klausner, who shared details of their run-in on Twitter and later in a podcast, Kasich had been behaving 'like an a**hole' long before they even boarded the plane and was talking obnoxiously on his cell phone in the airline's first class lounge.
He got on the plane first and, according to Klausner, was told that he could not sit in his seat because it had been given to a pilot who had been scheduled to fly at the other end of the journey at the last minute.

He’s a jerk. The airline shouldn’t bump passengers from seats, but only a jerk responds by stealing somebody else’s seat
2 thoughts: First, let’s make sure that the facts are correct. At this point are we taking the this comedian at her word? Remember how the leftist media has been eating crow lately for too quickly running with a story that fit their agenda. Second, Kasich is referred to as a “staunch pro-lifer.” Kasich is not a staunch anything, except staunchly acting like a selfish baby, circumstances of this story notwithstanding.
1) Ok Kasich is an A-hole, I think we all knew that.
2) The airline valued his business more than this comedian, who I have never heard of.
Her issue should be with the airline and not Gov. Douchbag. I bet she had the next flight comped by the airline.

And then there was the time he verbally attacked the cop for giving him a ticket. The infraction was caught on video.
Hmmmmm. Did someone want to give Kasich the opportunity to act like an *******?
This also shows what the quality of “premium” economy seating is. The pilot who bumped Kasich was allowed to because he needed a “more comfortable seat” so he’d be able to take the flight he was assigned to. Although I fly first class whenever possible, I still try to avoid flying whenever I can because the overall experience is so utterly squalid.
I can only imagine that blowhard on a cell phone! That guy never shuts up.
