Once again, pure, unadulterated, USDA-inspected horseshit! If true - and I’m sure it is to some extent - then Trump is the target AND the victim and it doesn’t change a damned thing regarding our perception of the investigation. What this information REALLY indicates is that the “investigation” is only dragging on, with multiple low-level process crime indictments to protect the guilty. By preventing the release of those documents, Sessions, Rosenstein, Mueller & Co. prevent the exposure of the real crimes.
As for the declassification issue, those “classified” documents contain fiction (the dossier) and evidence of a conspiracy (note that conspiracy, unlike collusion, actually is a crime) to unseat a duly-elected president, i.e., a capital crime. Yes, a CAPITAL crime, one the penalty for which is death. According to national security classification guidelines, the classification of information to conceal a crime is, in and of itself, a crime as well.
Whoever is advising the president to tread lightly on this is giving him bad advice. Public perception be damned, from Obama to Hillary and all the way down to McCabe and everyone in between, this needs to be exposed in all its foul, stinking glory and those responsible held accountable. Public hanging is too damned good for most of them.
I believe Trump is holding his cards UNTIL Mule-Face and the Democrats fire everything they have at him. Though he Tweets and sends the clownish Rudy Giuliani out to offer some wacky comments. His response is not very Trump like.
What is missing is someone like Jay Sekulow. I have not seen or heard from him in some time. My guess is he has access to all the information to “go nuclear” in response to the inevitable negative report from Mueller. I think this response will be part of the opening salvo of the 2020 re-election effort. Donald Trump will run again against the abject corruption that is Washington DC. He will attack the Swamp and the “Washington DC political UNI-Party” consisting of both Democrats and Republicans. Think of the attack POTUS could launch:

And explains why democrats know Mueller doesn't have crap about 'Russian collusion' even though democrats are giddy with joy: they know the report will embarrass Trump - show much of his private comments and 'pick his nose' realities... weakening him IN SPITE OF ANY LACK OF RUSSIAN COLLUSION.
Has Mueller coordinated with 'the team' to release the most embarrassing parts of this horror to their pets in the press? Maybe around the time of the State of the Union address? Bet on it.

And yes, to hell with it all, Trump should just declassify the documents. Otherwise, he is allowing himself to be hamstrung by a fraudulent investigation that is corrupt from its very core.
Easy to take out Mueller now. President Trump directs him to deliver the person who leaked the raid on Stone to CNN, or lose his national security clearance. If he objects, Trump comes back - either your security clearance or the leaker, you choose.
What gave it away to me was when Trump asked Comey if he (Trump) was a target, and Comey said “nope, you’re not a target”....but then he added “but don’t tell anyone what I just told you”.
It was obvious to me that Comey had the entire FBI trying to take down Trump (i.e., Trump was a target), and Comey wanted to stay on top of it all (as FBI Director), hence was trying to trick Trump into keeping him on board.
But the problem for Comey was that since he ‘cleared’ Trump, Trump was now free to fire him, which he, of course did - and then Trump announced to the world that Comey told him that he was not under investigation (something Comey wanted hidden, because it was a lie).
...and, knowing full well that Comey could simply deny that discussion ever took place, Trump tweeted his famous “...I may have ‘tapes’”...at which point Comey was out of luck, and it was on to Plan B, which was Mueller.
Jeez who by now doesn’t know Trump is the Target? Talk about a day late and $ short.

A roaring “scorched earth” campaign certainly sounds good, but I won’t hold my breath. This thunderstorm looks like a fizzle.
Trump has appointed some real clams to his Cabinet, we have no major prosecutions underway, Nasty Pelosi looks like she won the War for the Wall, and why the hell is Hillary still walking around free??
