It's not all about replicants, Terminators, and galaxies far, far away.

HIGH NOON in Outer Space.

The Crack In The World
This Island Earth
The original INVADERS FROM MARS
Beast from 20.000 Fathoms
20 Million Miles to Earth,
Any Ray Harryhausen, or Willis H. O’Brien animated film.
Too many good OLD ones to mention.
Yeah, but everybody volunteered to help Raquel remove the antibodies.
Wouldn’t you?
I’m not really a sci-fi fan....Liked the two I mentioned only because they were Navy ‘related’...
Galaxy Quest.
Never give up! Never surrender!!
YES YES YES!
I had forgotten about that one. Loved it!
Enemy Mine,
I remember really enjoying that in the distant past and was thrilled when I
found it recently used for a couple
bucks.
Somehow it struck me
as just too “Weird.”
Blade Runner and
12 Monkees
Have enthralled me
This past Year.
Attack of the 50 Foot Woman!!
Kronos from 1957 is one of the most underrated SF films released.
YES! Also Fiend Without a Face.
Surrogates was pretty good.
Confirmed. An interesting side note is that Bronson, Coburn, Brad Dexter and Horst Buchholz all died within a year in 2002-2003.
The Mutant Chronicles was interesting.
Alicia Vikander is great in everything she’s been in.
The Island
Which version, because the 1956 version with Kevin McCarthy was great, also 1953's Invaders from Mars. There where lots of movies that back in the day were scary as hell like the Crawling Eyes, but we are so jaded now with the current tech and CGI, we just don't have anything left to our imaginations anymore.........and that's where the real magic happens, or used to.
Zardoz - When you get tired being James Bond, you can be Ned for a change.
And what movie did the director of Zaroz make right before this cult oddity?
Hint, a number of the quilts shown in Zardoz were purchased by the director Appalachia.
This has become our Thanksgiving day movie to watch. LOL!
PI - that was odd.
Altered State, the book was better
Zardoz - Eternity gets very boring sometimes.
On the Beach!! Heck yeah - that was depressing, but very good.
All I could think of throughout Zardoz was how much Sean Connery seemed to NOT want to be there.
I have to wonder how they ever came up with that costume.
Haven’t seen any of them.
