Myth: Hitler was a leftist.
http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/L-hitler.htm | STEVE KANGAS

Posted on 01/26/2019 2:14:58 PM PST by Pontiac

Summary

Many conservatives accuse Hitler of being a leftist, on the grounds that his party was named "National Socialist."

But socialism requires worker ownership and control of the means of production.

In Nazi Germany, private capitalist individuals owned the means of production, and they in turn were frequently controlled by the Nazi party and state.

True socialism does not advocate such economic dictatorship -- it can only be democratic. Hitler's other political beliefs place him almost always on the far right.

He advocated racism over racial tolerance, eugenics over freedom of reproduction, merit over equality, competition over cooperation, power politics and militarism over pacifism, dictatorship over democracy, capitalism over Marxism, realism over idealism, nationalism over internationalism, exclusiveness over inclusiveness, common sense over theory or science, pragmatism over principle, and even held friendly relations with the Church, even though he was an atheist.

((The Volkswagen so loved by hippies and lefties was built by the German Labor Front, a Nazi all-workers union, with a Fuhrer commanded cash transfusion from Porsche, capital serving the workers. GLF also provided national health, national gyms, national high culture, national vacations, resorts and cruise ships for the workers. Volksgemeinshaft, people’s community. Sounds pretty socialist to me.))

Fascism and Communism is different only in who implements what. Fascists use the basic institutions of society (industry, the church, basic government services, etc.) and makes them instruments of their power. Communists totally tear down those institutions and replace them with something totally different.

This is why governments that were fascistic in nature like Spain or Chile, become stable governments when they move towards either a Constitutional Republic or a Parliamentary Republic. In the meantime, post-Communist societies are economic and moral basket cases.

Hitler used the National Socialists to feed his lust for power. If he thought Communists would've gotten him world domination, he'd have been a bigger Marxist than Lenin and Stalin combined.

Poland certainly is not. The Catholic Church stayed strong in Poland even through Communist times. You might have heard of a famous Polish Catholic from that time, Karol Wojtyła? Ring a bell?

Kangas' death

Death[edit]

On February 8, 1999, Kangas was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a restroom on the 39th floor of the One Oxford Center, Pittsburgh, home to the offices of Richard Mellon Scaife. Kangas’ blood alcohol was 0.14 and his backpack contained 47 rounds of ammunition and a copy of Hitler's Mein Kampf.[6][7]

As per your recommendation, I just watched that scene on YouTube, but only after clicking past this warning:

“Certain features have been disabled for this video
In response to user reports, we have disabled some features, such as comments, sharing, and suggested videos, because this video contains content that may be inappropriate or offensive to some audiences”

This from a PG movie. At least they did not ban it entirely.

Very interesting. I’ll have to make time to watch the film when I get a chance.

I’ve been saying for over a decade now just how much modern America is like Germany when the NAZIs rose to power. Some on this forum scoffed when I first started saying it. After Obama got elected, no one challenged me on this. Then we got the homosexualization of America. Too late to stop it now.

I do not believe that all homosexuals are violent, dangerous criminals, but their sexual proclivities go against not just the revealed judgment of God, but also basic laws of nature and of the human conscience. When people persist in sexual perversion in spite of such strong warnings against it, they become much more likely to cast off other behavioral norms of morality and decency. They become desensitized to the pain and suffering of others and become capable of horrific acts of abuse against others.

This and the related Satanism in NAZI Germany opened the door to extreme human rights abuses and atrocities. The left is pushing our nation in the same direction all the while accusing conservatives of the things leftists are actually guilty of.

He advocated . . . merit over equality, . . . capitalism over Marxism, realism over idealism, . . . common sense over theory or science, pragmatism over principle, and even held friendly relations with the Church, even though he was an atheist.

Christ - where do I start? He had a circle of cronies, some of whom were of exceptional merit (Albert Speer), while others were raging mediocrities (I'm talkin' to you, Hank Himmler). I read something a while back that the Nazis controlled something like 58% of the total German economy, and were trying to figure out how to control the German people's free time.

Common sense over theory or science? He believed in the occult, and surrounded himself with others who did as well (again, reference Himmler).

Pragmatism over principle? "Where a German soldier sets his foot, there he shall stay". He absolutely forbid retreat, even when the consequences were disastrous (e.g. Stalingrad).

Friendly relations with the Church? Sure, he was a Catholic altar boy and choir boy, but he HATED the Church. He was outwardly "friendly" to the church, but he felt they stood in his way, and was plotting to eliminate organized religions at the first opportunity.

This author needs to occasionally crack a history book, or watch "The Hitler Channel". Geez

Yep. In many ways, Republicans and conservatives have been the liberals for half a century.

It’s turned into a bit of a mish-mash with a major rearrangement at FDR, and another at Goldwater, and some lesser ones at other times.

Hitler hated the other lefties. Part of his appeal was in opposing with strength the chaos of the even further left.

Steve Kangas (Steven Robert Esh, May 11, 1961 – February 8, 1999) was a journalist, political activist and chess teacher known for his website Liberalism Resurgent and highly political usenet postings.Until 1986 he allegedly worked for the U.S. military. His stay in Berlin turned him from a conservative into an outspoken liberal. His writings were sharply critical of the business propaganda of the overclass[4] and the CIA.

Death
On February 8, 1999, Kangas was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a restroom on the 39th floor of the One Oxford Center, Pittsburgh, home to the offices of Richard Mellon Scaife. Yeah this guy was sane! Flush his works with his life.

The red in the Nazi flag was to attract Communists.

The Nazis got a lot of their ideas from American “progressives.”

It doesn't even necessarily involve de jure state ownership, as long as there is de facto state ownership and control.

Our society is getting more like the Nazis. We do it via regulation, whereby the government controls everything through rules you can’t repeal made by people you can’t remove.

That’s why Trump’s regulatory cuts have been so hated by the left.
