When asked to swear on the bible by a journalist saying he went to the moon, he turned violent, refused to answer questions and punched the guy , yes . To me that looked like a man caught in a lie, backed into a corner and whose only escape from the situation was to attack. Definitely not the response of a highly trained astronaut who could keep his cool in the most difficult situations. He should have said have kept his cool and said he would swear on the bible .

Exactly, ‘First Man’ was a highly focused film, it is not ‘The Right Stuff’ and does not try to be. It took someone with the unique personality of Armstrong to do what he did.
You “moon landing deniers” are a special kind of stupid. And also quite anti-American too. I honestly do not like any of you. You disrespect and deny one of America’s (and mans) greatest achievements. You’re kind are equally as informed and intelligent as “flat-earthers”.
I was 19 watching the lunar landing in my uncles living room. I became an electrical engineer because of the space program.
Don’t know about height requirements, but one of book writing TFNG crop said he took a spare pair of glasses for his ride(s) on the SST.
He was a West Pointer that went USAF, became a REO in a RF-4, and flew around 80 missions in Vietnam.

I was 13 and followed it closely. My Dad started working on the space program in 1952. He worked on Project Viking (not the later NASA program), designed the Vanguard 1 and then invented GPS. Here’s the website for my book. www.gpsdeclassified.com
