A family on vacation in Florida says that they were kicked off their American Airlines flight home to Detroit because fellow passengers were complaining about their body odor.
Yossi and Jennie Adler say they were removed from the flight, along with their 1-year-old daughter, from Miami on Wednesday because passengers told the crew they smelled bad. ABC News reports that airline staff escorted the family off the plane and told them to book another flight after several passengers complained.
All of a sudden, as soon as they took us off, they closed the gate and then they said, Sorry, sir, some people complained you had body odor and were not letting you back on,' Yossi Adler told local news station WPLG on Thursday. Theres no body odor that we have. Theres nothing wrong with us, he added. I want them to own up to what really happened and to tell me the truth.
American Airlines told WPLG that it was indeed the couples body odor that got them kicked off the flight. Mr. Adler and his wife were removed from the flight when several passengers complained about their body odor, the airline told the news channel in a statement. They have been booked into a hotel for the night and given meal vouchers. They have been rebooked on a flight Thursday.
Yossi said he believes there was a religious reason theyre kicking me off the plane, he said in a video. The Adler family is Jewish.
The family finally made it home to Detroit along with their luggage. The airline had promised to offload it when the family was booted from the flight, but the bags didnt arrive until the Adlers were back in Detroit.

Why does that one in the middle look like Web Hubbell with breasts?
Multiculturalism and body odor is our strength!
If the pilots eyes won’t stop welling up with tears and they can’t see, the plane is grounded.
OH...please..
Personal hygiene is a foreign concept to some people....
I was in line behind a woman from India and she literally reeked of poo. She was so beautiful and dressed in those beautiful silk fabrics. But the odor was horrible. My husband told me some people like body odor. Count me out on that!
It’s not just their ignorance of the virtue of bathing. It’s what they eat as well. And no, they can’t smell it. They’ve gone “nose blind,” as the Febreeze ad says.
I thought of that as well.
He’s wearing a yarmulke, she’s clearly frum.
I had a college roommate 1969-1973 who refused to use deodorant. She claimed she didn’t need it. I had a boyfriend in high school who rarely bathed and didn’t use tooth brush or deodorant. I broke up with him. Thank goodness. I am still friends with the college roommate, Jeanie. She still shows up for a visit at our house without a toothbrush. I keep new ones here just for her. She drinks red wine NON STOP and her teeth are brown.
Deodorant and daily showers are almost uniquely American concepts.
Travel the globe and smell how 99% of humanity smells. You get used to it.
he he he
I expected they were Indian or Pakistani, not Jewish.
We were at an outdoor festival in Deidesheim Germany 1980. It was cool and rainy. The sun came out and everyone took off jackets. The BO was horrible. We had stayed at a friend’s house there for a week. I was the only one who took a shower that whole week. Some of the people traveling with us were from Houston. Still, no showers. When in EU do like they do.
A friend had a foreign exchange student from France. He didn’t bathe or use deodorant, wore same shirt all the time. She worked on him for a year to bathe more often, and to change shirts.
My first thought when I read the headline was that it was low Amish but then I remembered they dont fly. Same scenario though. Whew, they get rank.
Ultra-Orthodox/Hasidic men generally wear a black cloak, white shirt, black pants, black shoes, and a black hat. The are also forbidden from shaving their beards or the side of their head. The man in the photo looks nothing an ultra-orthodox. Although the woman is wearing a long skirt and sleeves, if she is Ultra-Orthodox, then she would be wearing a wig and/or a head scarf that completely covers her hair. I suspect they are nothing more than hygienically-challenged people who happen to be Jews.
Amazingly, go back a couple hundred years and this was how most everybody stunk.
Were they wearing MAGA hats?

Chelsea ... is that you?
I boarded a flight from Maui to LAX, with my wonderful aisle seat that I’d snagged months before.
Next to me in the middle seat was a guy, and across the aisle in the middle seat was his new wife. They were returning from their honeymoon and commenting about not being able to sit together, so I thought, what the heck — I’ll trade with the wife. It’ll be a wedding gift. So we made the switch.
OMG! When I took her middle seat the lady by the window had an odor that would gag a maggot. For 5.5 hours I was nauseated and I was reminded that no good deed goes unpunished. Never again...
