When whomever makes up these sociatal divisions of rank, the original ending year for Baby Boomers was 1954...I remember because I was so glad I missed being lumped in with any all those other people. I see now the goal posts have been moved...yeah, so what?
I'll gladly own the whole "sex, drugs and rock n' roll" mantra. We had/have the most incredible soundtrack for our lives! As for the other two, I'll just let you use your imagination...and then I'll laugh. Our generation, just like every other one, had FUN!
Mini-vans were an adaptation of the work van. And that goes waaaay back! When I was 10, my uncles and Grampa would let me practice driving Gramps' 1930s tourquiose panel van...it was the vehicle he got to deliver milk on his route (big dairy farmer) after he decided to stop using Queenie and a wagon to do his milk route. So, that was the original mini-van. And when the "mini-vans" started being made and sold to the soccer moms, they built them on truck frames...which is why I hated them. I only owned mine after they had figured out to redesign them to make them easier to drive.
So I won't own mini-vans as a sin against the boomers. I will own the elimination of DDT in the US...that happened when I was in 8th grade and it was a disaster right from the beginning. They stopped making it because it harmed those stupid flying rats, the seagulls. Well, guess what? I lived between Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay. Anything to wipe the seagulls out was A-OK with me! There was an island by our town, called Gull Island. It was such a gull haven that the gulls would attack people who went out there (personal experience, those bas-birds are MEAN!) They made my days as second mate and chief deck scrubber on my dad's commercial fishing boat very difficult!

Some other things about the arch. The 69 may not be a 69 on its side, it may be the astrological sign for Cancer.
Note that starting on the left of the arch you see the Ram, the bull, the twins, cancer on the keystone, the lion, the maiden, the scales. You have the sun, the moon, the 7 sisters (The pleides) a comet (Hailies?) the cornupica on the left, a square and divider on the right. in the middle is a heraldic shield, divided into 4 squares with a Unicorn, a Griffin, an Eagle, and I think A king? At the bottom was the serpent, a casket touching the tree of life, and the arc of the covenant. I assume that the G in the center stands for God.
I suspect that the message is that you need a standard and rule of life that will guide you in this life and assist you to ascend to the next, all within, of course a Christian Setting (See the crosses.) I do not know if this is so, I am just looking at their symbols...

We inhereted my mother in law’s mini-van when she passed away last year. My wife loves it. Before that I would never get one because my wife has been a truck person forever and I wouldn’t because everyone else with a family would get one and I refuse to conform to anything.
