Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) has defied President Trump with a vote to reopen the government without securing any border wall funding, according to the Denver Post editorial board. Gardner is now the third Republican expected to vote to advance the "clean" funding bill. According to a comment from Gardner’s spokesman the Post, the senator intended to vote for a “clean funding bill … with no border-security funding attached.”

As a Coloradan I have to admit Gardner is a weak-kneed, lily-livered, noodle-spined, pencil-necked sorry excuse for a Republican and doesn’t even know what conservative means. I voted for him the first time but didn’t vote for him in the last go-around and I won’t in the next.
