Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) has defied President Trump with a vote to reopen the government without securing any border wall funding, according to the Denver Post editorial board. Gardner is now the third Republican expected to vote to advance the "clean" funding bill. According to a comment from Gardner’s spokesman the Post, the senator intended to vote for a “clean funding bill … with no border-security funding attached.”

Cory Gardner is aware of how many people have moved from CA to CO. He also knows how many illegal aliens are being allowed to vote in CO with more to come. He may be interested in the governors’ job too. He is looking out for Cory and the country can be damned.

Don’t know why this is on here today. Gardner, along with Murkowski, Romney, Alexander, Isakson, and Collins voted to give the Dems what they want. Happened yesterday. The headline should have been ‘6 Democrats, who ran and were elected as Senate Republicans, support the Dems Bill’.
The Uniparty does not take border security seriously.
To them, the lives of ordinary citizens are inconsequential, and murder, manslaughter, rape, and robbery are merely the collateral damage necessary to achieve their globalist agenda.

Trump probably tests a lawmaker's loyalties by applying an equivalent of the Henry Ford “salt” test, minimally just to see by a lawmakers’s actions what side of the fence a lawmaker is on for a given issue.
I guess the Senators and Reps want to save their Position of Power. They along with the so called Mainstream Media may well end up destroying America.
Colorado is infested with illegals. I imagine Gardner is worried he’ll lose his landscaper, maid, nanny, cook, pool boy, etc.
So, these 6 voted the way Trump just announced he was supporting.
