Read the article. It is true that if you eat a lot of certain foods, especially cumin, saffron, turmeric, and garlic especially, the odors cling to one, and may be unpleasant to others. It is NOT being unclean. And sometimes there nay be a genetic tendency for one's perspiration to be more acrid.

However, for this guy to claim it is a rejection of his religion is simply ridiculous.

Prove it is "simply ridiculous."

One would have to examine the evidence and witnesses to determine the facts.
  1. Miami to Detroit flight
  2. " several passengers, along with our crew members," could have bias if they were Michigan based and hostile to Jews
  3. On the other hand, perhaps there was some compelling reason to deny an obviously Jewish family boarding. The airline could have liability for discrimination if the "several passengers, along with our crew members" have an antisemitic bias, since action was obviously taken to deny the family boarding for the purported cause of "odor."

Remember there are a lot of Muslims in the Detroit area, and I certainly wouldn’t put it past them to pull something like this on a Jewish person to have them removed from the flight, if for no other reason than to embarrass them.. Not saying that was the case, but ‘;m certainly not prepared to say that it wasn’t either. We don’t know.
