“Cold War” should win Best Foreign Film. Excellent movie.

A Quiet Place was totally shut out.
They should have made more noise about it.
Seriously, it was a standard-issue horror/suspense flick. No reason it should even have been considered for best picture.

Sorry, but that list of “snubs” certainly deserved to be snubbed...
And while I haven’t seen the list who made it, my guess is MOST of those should have been snubbed too

Hope Malek wins, but to me he’ll always be “Snafu”.

Oscar Snubs: 'First Man"
Doesn't surprise me at all. When Neil Armstrong died, my local Gannett rag buried the story on page 4.
That was 6 years ago ... and I'm STILL PO'd.

I just watched Roma last night and really enjoyed it. More style than story, which I sometimes prefer.
I recently saw Three Identical Strangers. Pretty good. I can see why it was passed over.

I certainly hope they recognize Peter Jackson for “They Shall Not Grow Old”.

Awwww... some of them got left unattended in the circle jerk of leftist self-praise, yet somehow, my life continues unaltered by the cruelty of their fate.

Do any of the movies that they snubbed have homos or trannies in them? I know “The Quiet Place” doesn’t because I saw that on DVD. But what about the rest?

There can never be another Mary poppins. My kids loved it. We watched it over and over.

Hubby and I first watched Won't You Be My Neighbor when it first showed up on On Demand. We really liked it.

There will be no suspense; Hollywood is going affirmative action and the two movies, Black Panther & Blackkklansman will be the two winners in most categories.

I can’t wait to not watch the awards broadcast.
