Will brand new DeLoreans emerge from Humble, TX, on the outskirts of Houston?

The real question to ask is: Will the new DeLoreans come with working Flux Capacitors?

Brand new they were not that great, understeer, French V6 (gutless) and tough to work on. Interesting concept and nice stainless body which some painted to have a diffent look. Not everyone wanted a stainless color car!

““AN AMERICAN CAR FROM AN AMERICAN BRAND THAT CAN’T BE SOLD IN AMERICA…IT’S HORRIBLE.”

and this is a Brit, who resurrected the car at his own dime.

If it does, I’m going for the SPORTS ALMANAC and bet on at least 100 games on the first day I get back..

Advice for the CEO Stephen Wynne: If anyone comes around offering you an unbelievable cocaine deal, run like hell!

I’m going for Mega millions and Powerball myself with a Delorean. We’ll have to meet up and compare notes afterwards. :)

A few years ago, there was a DeLorean running around NE Columbia.

One day, I saw it sitting in a parking lot y itself. I stopped and talked to the owner. He bought it from a guy in the army. He said it was a lot of work to keep it going.

I looked inside. Too tight for me.

A DeLorean with a 300 to 400 HP engine might be interesting.

But, you’re right, no Renault engine. Ford and GM make some fine 6 cylinder engines today.

Why buy a car which requires repairs so often? OK so if you own car repair facility, I can see spending a wad on a DeLorean.

The DeLorean was basically a stainless steel Vega.

Who the heck wants to drive one of those hideous looking pieces of crap? That’s the real question.

A fiberglass Lotus with a thin stainless steel shell would be a much better description...:^)

Screw the DeLorean. If we are going retro, I want this back.

Personally, I’d prefer an updated Daytona-style AC COBRA coupe as originally envisioned by Carroll Shelby and/or one of the FEW SHELBY Greyhound roadsters that were ever built..

Btw, DeLoreans were said to NOT be too popular with State highway departments, as they tended “inhale all the lines on the highway.
